The event features over 20 NYC bakeries, will all proceeds going to Brigid Alliance.

Oh God, A Show About Abortion writer and comedian Alison Leiby is teaming up with pastry chef Natasha Li Pickowicz (Never Ending Taste, Flora Bar, Café Altro Paradiso) for a one-day-only bake sale to support abortion access. The event occurs June 4 4:30-6:30PM at the Cherry Lane Theatre with all proceeds benefiting Brigid Alliance (a nonprofit that arranges and funds travel and other needs to support individuals nationwide receive access to abortion care).

More than 20 NYC bakeries and chefs are donating their signature treats to the event, including Never Ending Taste, Dame, Claire Saffitz, Camille Becerra, Brutus Bakeshop by Lani Halliday, Don Angie, Yellow Rose, King, Vallery Lomas, Bad Taste by Jen Monroe, Frenchette, Marlow & Sons, Zoe’s Doughies by Zoe Kanan, Sophia Roe, Carla Lalli Music, Claudia Fleming, Gage & Tollner, Ovenly, Morgenstern’s, Judy Kim, Split Eights, Parlor Coffee, Fox Bread Bakery by Daniel Skurnick, Ursula, and the Jewish Food Society.

Bake sale vouchers are on sale at the show's website for $7 with a limit of 10 vouchers per person. Each voucher is worth one bakery item.

The recently-extended show is directed by Lila Neugebauer and presented by Broad City co-creator and star Ilana Glazer. The show sees Leiby telling the story of a momentous summer that involved a scary visit to the "Fertility" section of a Missouri CVS, two root canals, and, finally, a trip to Planned Parenthood. The solo show officially opened at Cherry Lane Theatre May 5 and is currently set to run through June 30.
