Here's the song that will be stuck in your head all week: "Inner Thoughts" (inner thoughts) from the new Off-Broadway musical Between the Lines. Based on the young adult novel by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer, the show features a score by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson and a book by Timothy Allen McDonald.
The story follows Delilah (played by Arielle Jacobs) as she moves to a new school and turns to the pages of story book to escape her own life. The lines between reality and fantasy begin to blur as she develops a crush on the book's handsome prince. Check out the video above of the catchy tune "Inner Thoughts," sung by a group of the school's popular kids, played in the video by Aubrey Matalon, Jerusha Cavazos, Sean Stack, and Will Burton.
The cast also features Jake David Smith, Vicki Lewis, Hillary Fisher, John Rapson, Wren Rivera, and Julia Murney. Matalon serves as an understudy, along with Heather Ayers, Dan Hoy, and Martin Landry.
