The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation hosted their annual Broadway Belts for PFF! on February 25, hosted by Broadway legend Julie Halston, who will appear on Broadway later this season in Tootsie. The evening featured performances from stars such as Santino Fontana (Cinderella, Tootsie), Ariana DeBose (Summer), Patti Murin (Frozen), Lilli Cooper (Tootsie, SpongeBob SquarePants), Brad Oscar (Something Rotten, The Producers), and Mary Testa (Oklahoma!, On the Town).
The event raised money for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, which aids in the fight against the disease that affects over 200,000 Americans annually. The benefit began as a tribute to the Associated Press theater critic, Michael Kuchwara, who died of pulmonary fibrosis in 2010. Every year since, Broadway stars have graced the stage, belting their favorite Broadway tunes in support.
