Seeing the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of Ragtime is certainly a priceless experience. But if you're on a budget, we've got you covered. The show has a digital lottery you can enter, a student rush, as well as special promotion for Lincoln Center members!

For Ragtime rush, a digital ticket lottery opens at midnight on the day prior to your desired performance, closing at 3 PM the day prior; winners are announced at 10 AM and 3 PM on the performance date. Winners will be able to purchase up to two tickets to the evening performance for just $49. Visit here to enter.

For young people, student rush is also be an option. Students who arrive to the box office two hours prior to a performance may be able to score a $32 rush ticket (with a valid student ID from a high school, college, or graduate program on hand). These tickets are subject to availability and far less likely to be offered for a sold-out performance—but if you keep losing the lottery, you can try your luck with student rush.

If you want to plan ahead, there's discounts for advance tickets, as well. Lincoln Center Theater, the producer of Ragtime, offers discounts to its members. LCT members get exclusive access to see shows at a discounted price of $62 to $97.75 for tickets regularly priced at $77 to $187. And members can choose what performances they want to see in advance, subject to availability. The other great part: an LCT membership is free! The only catch is LCT opens itself up to new members only a few times a year.
