Written by Dave Malloy and Jen Silverman, the stage adaptation of the 2010 film is set to make its debut bow via American Repertory Theater at Cambridge, Massachusetts' Loeb Drama Center May 26 prior to an official opening June 3.

The musical, based on the Darren Aronofsky film of the same name, follows a ballerina named Nina who is given her first lead role in Swan Lake. Swings Alex Aquilino, Cameron Burke, Mia DeWeese, and Johanna Moise; and understudy Mehry Eslaminia will round out the company.

As previously reported, the A.R.T.-developed adaptation of the Oscar-nominated psychological thriller (with a story by Andres Heinz) will feature music and lyrics by Obie winner Malloy (Moby-Dick, Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812), a book by Guggenheim Fellow Silverman (The Roommate, Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties), direction and choreography by Tony winner Sonya Tayeh (Moulin Rouge! The Musical), and music supervision and direction by Or Matias (Moby-Dick).

The production will also feature scenography by Tony nominee AMP, featuring Marissa Todd; costume design by Emmy winner Shiona Turini; lighting design by Drama Desk winner Isabella Byrd; sound design by Tony winner Kai Harada; hair and wig design by Oscar winner Mia Neal; makeup design by Sarah Cimino; illusion design by Tony winner Chris Fisher and Skylar Fox; blood design by Lillis Meeh; and fight and intimacy direction by Rocío Mendes.
