Great Scott! The Olivier Award-winning musical Back to the Future will be coming to Broadway in 2023, according to a tweet from the production.
"Synchronize Your Watches — The Future's coming to Broadway in 2023!!!," reads the post. Showcasing the franchise's infamous Delorean time machine, the clip shows Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown glancing at each other from the front of the vehicle.

More information about the forthcoming production is expected to be released in the coming months.
In other news, the West End musical released its original recording via digital and physical CD in summer 2021 from Sony Masterworks Broadway. The musical, based on the 1985 film, is currently running at the Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End, featuring a book by Bob Gale and music by Grammy winners Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, alongside classic songs from the movie including "The Power of Love" and "Johnny B. Goode". The production opened September 13, 2021 and recently extended its run to October 2022.
