"We Don't Just Fill Shift. We Build Crews"
Odeum Labor Services (OLS) was born from the backstage world. Founded in 2024 through the merger of Mind the Gap and Tinc Productions labor divisions, we bring 30 years of "in the trenches" experience to the market. We provide the skilled technicians, leads, and crews that make events, permanent installations, and brand activations happen.
We are looking for an Account Manager who is a hybrid of a Relationship Builder and an Experienced Sales Professional. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit behind a spreadsheet all day, it’s for the person who knows everyone in the industry, anticipates a client’s needs before they ask, and thrives in an environment of fast-paced "wins".
The Role: Sales Through Partnership
At Odeum, you’re not just “selling labor, “you’re about earning trust. You’re selling reliability, follow-through, and long-term partnership. Clients rely on us to show up, solve problems, and execute. We rely on you to lead that relationship.
Success in this role isn’t measured solely by whether a job runs smoothly. It’s measured by whether clients call you back, expand into new markets with us, and view you as a true partner. You own the full lifecycle of the client relationship from the urgent “we need 10 hands tomorrow” call to building recurring, multi-market partnerships that grow over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Revenue through Relationships: Manage a high volume of accounts with a focus on increasing existing client sales and expanding our reach within their organizations. You understand that in our world, responsiveness is the ultimate competitive advantage.
Own the Quote: Translate complex production needs into accurate labor estimates and proposals quickly. Use OLS rate cards strategically to ensure we are profitable, competitive, and fair.
The "Consultative" grit : You aren't just taking orders; you are listening to clients and ensuring that you are translating their needs to match our staffing configurations for their project while always keeping their bottom line and our best interest at the center of the conversation.
Strategic Growth & Pipeline Management: Use our CRM to track opportunities, forecast revenue, and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts. You are motivated to grow your book and take pride in measurable results.
Site Presence & Relationship Building: This isn’t a fully remote, behind-the-desk role. Show up. Walk sites. Stop by shops. Talk to crews. Build real relationships over time. The goal isn’t networking for the sake of it, it’s being a steady, reliable presence people feel comfortable calling when something comes up. You enjoy people and people enjoy working with you.
Full-Cycle Accountability: From the first “Hello” to final invoice reconciliation, you are the face of the project. Your partnership with Labor Deployment Managers ensures that the right crew is the crew delivered to the project and that you communicate clearly up and down the chain as realities shift. Clear communication externally and internally is the key to success in this role.

Comfortable navigating CRM systems, scheduling platforms (Nowsta or similar), and project tools.
Nimble and able to pivot when clients production plans inevitably change
We’re a remote, fast-moving team. You don’t need to be a tech wizard, just comfortable enough to stay connected, jump into meetings from wherever you are, and keep communication clear as the day shifts.

3–4 years of direct sales or account management experience
Confident asking your clients for business and earning it
