Tony Awards Where's the Party? A Guide to NYC Tony Awards Watch Parties

Several viewing parties will be held throughout NYC on the big night.

Where's the party? Well, we can take you there (and to another party somewhere). The 77th Annual Tony Awards are just around the corner, and we've compiled a list of New York City viewing parties for theatre fans to gather and enjoy the ceremony. The official awards are set for June 16 at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater. 

Read on to find out where you can tune into the ceremony in NYC, whether it's from a cozy bar, a glamorous rooftop, or beloved cabaret venue. And if you're hosting a party at home, we suggest making these Tony-nominated musical-themed cocktails/mocktail.

Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center at Amsterdam Ave and W. 62nd St
When:

Skylar Astin is hosting this outdoor event just steps away from where the actual ceremony is being held! Attendees will be able to participate in a number of interactive events as well, including photo ops and Broadway trivia. Food will be available via a concession stand and Shake Shack food truck. Tony Awards Viewing Party to Benefit 54 Below
Where: 54 Below, 254 West 54 St
When: Doors at 5:30 PM
Famed cabaret venue 54 Below will host a viewing party with proceeds benefitting educational and accessibility initiatives, including the venue's Ticket Subsidy program. Guests will be provided with ballots to fill out their predictions, and a number of prizes will be awarded later in the night for accurate guesses. The evening will feature commercial break mini games and challenges, and each ticket includes a glass of prosecco, unlimited soft drinks, and a three course meal. Click here for tickets.

The Stonewall Inn's Annual Tony Party
Where: 53 Christopher St 
When: 7:00 PM
Anthony Fett and Lavinia Draper will host the historic Stonewall Inn's annual viewing party, with performances at commercial breaks and a cash prize for ballot predictions. Performers include Kelvin Moon LohAllison Semmes, Logan Farine, Erich Schleck, Cassandra Douglas, Jonathan Green; and Stonewall All Stars Macy Robinson, Allison Griffith, Lucia Pistone, Teal French Levine, and Lexy Rock. 2024 Tony Awards Viewing Party @230 Fifth Rooftop
Where: 230 5th Ave

Seth Rudetsky's 4th Annual Tony Awards Watch Party
Where: The Triad Theater, 158 W 72 St + Live Stream
When: Doors at 6:00 PM
Sirius XM host (and Playbill columnist) Seth Rudetsky will host a viewing party and concurrent live stream at the Triad Theater Off-Broadway, complete with prizes, voting ballots, and more. The live stream will also feature giveaways including tickets to Broadway shows, Off-Broadway's Titaníque, The Museum of Broadway, and more. Click here for tickets.

Tony Awards Watch Party With Andre Catrini and Lagoona Bloo
Where: VERS, 714 9th Ave 
When: 7:00 PM
Composer and lyricist Andrew Catrini and drag queen Lagoona Bloo will host a viewing party at Hell's Kitchen gay bar VERS, with prediction ballots provided and bar bites and more available for purchase. Click here for tickets. 

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre's Viewing Party
Where: Smithfield Hall, 138 W 25 St
When: 7:00 PM
NAMT will celebrate the winners of its high school Musical Theater Songwriting Challenge with a Tony viewing party at Smithfield Hall, including food, drinks, games, and a photo booth. Click here for tickets.

Tony Award Watch Party at QED
Where: Q.E.D. Astoria, 27-16 23rd Ave 
When: 7:30 PM
Non-profit theatre company Broadway Bods will host a viewing party at Q.E.D. in Astoria. Tickets include a prediction ballot, and pub-type food and drinks will be available for purchase. Click here for tickets.

The awards will kick off with The Tony Awards: Act One, a 90-minute pre-show of live and exclusive content hosted by Julianne Hough and Utkarsh Ambudkar streaming on Pluto TV's ET channel beginning at 6:30 PM ET. The 77th Annual Tony Awards will follow beginning at 8 PM ET, broadcasting live on CBS (check local listings) and streaming live via Paramount+, for subscribers with the SHOWTIME add-on. All Paramount+ subscribers will have on demand access to the broadcast beginning June 17. Stage and screen star Ariana DeBose will be back for the third consecutive year to host.

Nominations for the 2024 Tony Awards were revealed April 30, with Hell's Kitchen and Stereophonic taking the mantle as the most Tony-nominated productions of the season with 13 nods each. See the full list of nominations here.
