Off-Broadway's Public Theater has found full casting for its upcoming Mobile Unit tour of Shakespeare's As You Like It, set to bring a 90-minute, family-friendly production of the comedy to various venues across all five boroughs this summer. Performances will run June 4-28, with Emma Rosa Went directing.

The cast will be led by Caitlin Nasema Cassidy as Celia; Jose Gamo as Orlando; Zoë Goslin as Jaques and Le Beau; Jessica Ko as Audrey, Corin, and Adam; Zia Lawrence as Rosalind; Peter McNally as Touchstone; Jonathan Gabriel Mousset as Oliver and Amiens; Pearl Rhein as Phoebe, William, and Lord; David Ryan Smith as Duke Frederick and Duke Senior; and Kai Thomani Tshikosi as Silvius and Charles. Understudies William Ormsby Cary and Mia Fowler will round out the company.

The tour is part of the Public's annual Shakespeare programming, the centerpiece of which is the Free Shakespeare in the Park series at Central Park's Delacorte Theater. As with those productions, this touring As You Like It will be available to audiences free of charge.

The production will feature scenic design by Yi-Hsuan (Ant) Ma, costume design by Jennifer Paar, sound design by Tye Hunt Fitzgerald, music by Rachel Duncan, and fight direction by Dan Renkin. Codey Leroy Butler will serve as production stage manager.

"We are thrilled to bring Emma Rosa Went’s As You Like It to New Yorkers across the city this summer, especially at a moment when questions of power, leadership, and community are on so many people’s minds," says Director of Civic Artistic Program Pablo Hernandez Basulto in a statement. "In this play, a group of people step outside those systems and, through a deeper connection to nature, begin to imagine a different way of being together. We’re excited to transform parks across the city into their own Forests of Arden and invite audiences to experience that possibility with us."

"The motto overhanging The Public's Shakespeare programs (‘Free. For All. Forever’) makes me tear up whenever I hear it, and for me, represents a world-view that could come right out of As You Like It—one focused on community, equality, freedom, and care," adds Went. "I believe Shakespeare belongs to everyone, and As You Like It—a joyful, wise, radical play about what kind of society it might be possible for us to build togetherfeels like a meaningful offering for this moment. I am so honored to be part of this program, both as a theatre artist and a citizen of New York, and to meet everybody in all the Ardens across New York City, wherever we find them."
