Aya Ogawa's The Nosebleed began performances at Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 Off-Broadway at the Claire Tow Theater July 16, with opening night set for August 1. The limited run will continue through August 28.
Ogawa, a Tokyo-born playwright whose work focuses on women and non-binary perspectives, will both direct and star in the work, alongside Drae Campbell, Ashil Lee, Saori Tsukada, and Kaili Y. Turner.
The autobiographical work explores the troubled relationship between Ogawa and their late father through a series of vignettes.
Ogawa's creative team includes scenic and costume designer Jian Jung, lighting designer Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew, and sound designer Megumi Katayama. Leah V. Pye is stage manager.
