Listen up corn nuts! The musical adaptation of the iconic film Heathers has been making its way around the country in its high school edition, and schools everywhere are leaping at the opportunity to bring Veronica and the Heathers to their stages. The Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy musical is based on the 1988 cult film about two teens who plot to kill the popular girls at their high school and put an end to their cruel bullying. The original Off-Broadway cast also featured Barrett Wilbert Weed as Veronica, Ryan McCartan as JD, Elle McLemore as Heather McNamara, Jessica Keenan Wynn as Heather Chandler, Alice Lee as Heather Duke, and Katie Ladner as Martha Dunnstock.
