Riverdance 30—The New Generation, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the international hit that fuses Irish and international dance and music, will play five performances at Radio City Music Hall March 28-30, 2025.

Riverdance's anniversary tour, which begins in January 2025, will rejuvenate the original show with new choreography, costumes, state-of-the-art lighting, projection, and motion graphics. The production will also welcome “The New Generation” of performers, all of whom were not born when show began 30 years ago.

Produced by Moya Doherty, Riverdance is directed by John McColgan and composed by Bill Whelan. Casting of the dancers, musicians, and singers will be announced at a later date.

In those 30 years the show has transformed from a spectacle into a global cultural phenomenon—continuously evolving yet remaining true to its Irish roots. On this upcoming tour we look forward to welcoming ‘The New Generation’ of artists while paying tribute to the talented performers, creators, dedicated crew, and the millions of fans who have made Riverdance a worldwide celebration of music and dance.”

Composer Whelan added, “It is so gratifying to celebrate 30 years in the life of Riverdance. What is even more uplifting is to see the growth in the numbers of young people actively engaging in Irish music and dance since Riverdance began life in 1994. This new breed of performers is not only rooted and respectful of their tradition, but also fearless in exploring music and dance forms from all over the world. For me, in a world that seems to grow increasingly narrow and insular, this is a powerful cause for celebration and hope.”

Riverdance 30—The New Generation also features designs by Peter Canning, sets by Alan Farquharson, lighting by Andrew Voller, video by Cosmo AV, costumes by Joan Bergin, and sound by Michael O’Gorman. Abhann Productions and The Bowery Presents produce.

The dance sensation played a Broadway engagement at the Gershwin Theatre, entitled Riverdance—On Broadway, from March 2000 through August 2001.

Presale tickets will go on sale to fans who purchased tickets to the 2020 Radio City Music Hall engagement of Riverdance at noon October 1. Presale tickets will be available to American Express cardholders and members of the Radio City Music Hall and The Bowery Presents lists beginning October 2 at 10 AM ET. Tickets will go on sale to the general public October 4 at 10 AM ET.
