Abhann Productions has announced Riverdance will relaunch its North American tour in 2026. Riverdance 30 – The New Generation will visit 67 cities from January-June 2026.

Riverdance 30 – The New Generation toured 40 North American cities in 2025, including two weeks at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and a weekend of performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The tour rejuvenates the much-loved original show with new choreography and costumes, and state of the art lighting, projection and motion graphics. The new generation of performers are all under 30 years old, meaning they were not yet born when Riverdance began.

Riverdance began its journey as the interval act in the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, produced for television by Moya Doherty. This seven-minute dance piece was then developed into a full-length stage show by producer Moya Doherty, composer Bill Whelan, and director McColgan. The fusion of Irish and international dance and music broke box office records during its world premiere run in Dublin in 1995, played a subsequent engagement in London, then kicked off two decades of touring throughout North America. Since its inception, Riverdance has also been performed in Oceania, Asia, South Africa, and South America.

The creative team includes lead designer Peter Canning, set designer Alan Farquharson, lighting designer Andrew Voller, costume designer Joan Bergin, and sound designer Michael O'Gorman. The production will also feature video by Cosmo AV.
