The event features performances from Carmello (1776), André Jordan (Diana), Harper (Kinky Boots), Colin Cunliffe (Paradise Square), and Wayne (Tina), along with Tonewall and Broadway Sings.

The stream also includes remarks from special guest speakers: Playbill VP and COO Alex Birsh, Gilead Senior Director of HIV Franchise Andrea Porzio, GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis, GLAAD Senior Director of Communications Tony Morrison, and Maria Di Dia. The evening saw the first-ever Ribbon Award bestowed upon the evening's host, Karl Schmid. The surprise honor, which was presented this year by Dr. Fauci, recognizes a leader in research, activism, and/or outreach, honoring their commitment in stopping the stigma associated with HIV and AIDS and commitment to helping find a cure. Virtual congratulations were offered by Tony winner Alan Cumming, Olympian Greg Louganis, Prevention Access Founding Executive Director Bruce Richman, Senior Culture and Events Editor for Variety Marc Malkin, ABC7 co-anchor Ellen Leyva, and Schmid's parents, Helmut and Julia Schmid.
