News "Mozart in the Jungle" Actress Among Cast for Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' Gloria at the Vineyard Off-Broadway's Vineyard Theatre has announced casting for the final show of its 2014-15 season, the world premiere of Gloria by acclaimed playwright Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (An Octoroon, Appropriate). Jennifer Kim ("Mozart in the Jungle") is among the cast.

Directed by Evan Cabnet, performances will begin May 28 with an official opening slated for June 15.

The cast will also feature Jeanine Serralles (Maple and Vine, “Inside Llewyn Davis”), Catherine Combs (Smokefall), Kyle Beltran (In the Heights), Mike Crane (Winter's Tale) and Ryan Spahn ("He's Way More Famous Than You").

Gloria is about a group of editorial assistants working at a notorious Manhattan magazine, each highly ambitious and hoping for the next big book deal before they hit 30. In this already competitive environment, an ordinary day turns out to be anything but, and the stakes for the entire group become even higher.

The production will feature scenic design by Takeshi Kata, costume design by Ilona Somogyi, lighting design by Matt Frey and sound design by Matt Tierney.
