Michael Keegan-Dolan's How to Be a Dancer in Seventy-Two Easy Lessons will open the 2023—2024 season at St. Ann's Warehouse this fall. The production will mark the first ever theatre-dance work to be presented at the venue, as well as renowned Irish choreographer Keegan-Dolan's return to performing onstage after two decades. It will run October 21–November 5.

Choreographed by Keegan-Dolan and his close collaborator Rachel Poirier, and directed by Poirier and Adam Silverman, the work weaves a story about a life in dance from memory’s pas de deux of fiction and reality. Keegan-Dolan and Poirier will also be the featured performers onstage, dancing the work they created together.

The production features directing and lighting design by Adam Silverman, set and costume design by Hyemi Shin, sound design by Sandra Ní Mhathúna, production management by Mikee Lonergan, and stage management by Iain Synnott.
