Regional News Julian Sands Will Return to A Room With a View for L.A. Theatre Works Kate McAll penned the stage adaptation and will also direct the four performances.

Julian Sands, who starred as young George Emerson in the 1985 Merchant Ivory film version of A Room With a View, will return to the property in March in an L.A. Theatre Works-commissioned stage adaptation.

Written and directed by Kate McAll—adapted from the novel by E.M. Forster—the stage version casts Sands as Mr. Emerson with British stars Eugene Simon (Game of Thrones) as George and Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark on PBS) as Lucy. The cast also includes Edita Brychta and Darren Richardson.

In A Room With A View, Lucy Honeychurch and chaperone Charlotte Bartlett find themselves in Florence with rooms without views, and fellow guests Mr. Emerson and son George step in to remedy the situation.
