See Who's Joining Tyne Daly, Max Von Essen in Pasadena Playhouse Brigadoon

The time-treasured musical will play the Tony Award-winning California theatre beginning this May.

Full casting and creative team information has been revealed for Pasadena Playhouse production of Brigadoon. Alexandra Silber's new adaptation will run May 13-June 14, with an official opening night May 17. Katie Spelman is directing and choreographing.

Lerner & Loewe’s Brigadoon premiered on Broadway in 1947 and tells the story of Tommy and Jeff, two American tourists who happen upon a peculiar Scottish village that only appears for one day every 100 years. When one of the Americans falls for a local woman, he questions whether he ever wants to leave.

As previously announced, Max Von Essen and Tyne Daly will star as Tommy Albright and Widow Lundie (originally Mr. Lundie), respectively, alongside Betsy Morgan as Fiona MacLaren, Happy Anderson as Jeff Douglas, and Daniel Yearwood as Charlie Dalrymple. 

Newly joining are Brian CalÌ (Master Class) as Angus, Kylie Victoria Edwards (Anastasia) as Jean MacLaren, Michael Scott Harris (Ragtime) as Archie Beaton, Jessica Lee Keller (Teen Beach Movie) as Maggie Anderson, Brian Kim McCormick (West Side Story) as Stuart, Spencer Milford (Newsies) as Harry Beaton, Chuck Saculla (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) as Sandy Dean, Donna Vivino (Hell’s Kitchen) as Meg Brockie, and Geoffrey Wade (Translations) as Andrew MacLaren, along with Amanda Clement (Tammy Faye), Sophie Liu David (Catch Me If You Can), Evan Kinnane (Moulin Rouge!), Maddie Miller Lacambra (Sweeney Todd), Julia Wheeler Lennon (The Bridges of Madison County), Gabriel Navarro (A Christmas Story), Amy Smith (Anastasia), and Gil Sweeney (Brooklyn Pop). Casting is by RBT Casting's Ryan Bernard Tymensky, with Dana Ellis serving as associate casting director.

The production will feature music direction by Brad Gardner, music supervision by Darryl Archibald, scenic design by Jason Sherwood, costume design by Raquel Adorno, hair, wig, and makeup design by Albee Alvarado, lighting design by Jaymi Smith, sound design by Danny Erdberg and Ursula Kwong-Brown,. Jennifer Hernandez Mota is the UCI Executive Assistant. The stage management team includes production stage manager Jill Gold, assistant stage managers Lauren Buangan and Miriam E. Mendoza, and production assistant Gaby Ostrove. The creative team also includes assistant hair, wig, and makeup designer Kim Parker, associate lighting designer Avery Reagan, and assistant lighting designer Diana Herrera.
