The musical retelling of the classic romance stars Peter Dinklage, Haley Bennett, and Kelvin Harrison Jr.

"When we were making it, you could tell that it was going to become something very magical," said choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui in the new featurette "Next Level Song and Dance" for the musical film Cyrano.

Watch the featurette above for some new behind-the-romance looks at the music and dance in movie, with interviews from director Joe Wright, composer Bryce Dessner, and cast members including Peter Dinklage (Cyrano), Haley Bennett (Roxanne), and Kelvin Harrison Jr. (Christian).

The film features a screenplay by Erica Schmidt, based on her 2018 stage musical adaptation of the Edmond Rostand-penned classic play, and a score with music by Bryce Dessner and Aaron Dessner (of the band The National) and lyrics by Matt Berninger (also in The National) and Carin Besser.

Joining the main trio on screen are Ben Mendelsohn, Bashir Salahuddin, and Monica Dolan.

Cyrano was screened this past fall at Telluride Film Festival and opened for one week in Los Angeles in December. The film hits theatres February 25.
