News Further Casting Announced for Hay Fever at West End's Duke of York's Theatre Further casting has been announced for a new production of Nöel Coward's Hay Fever, beginning performances April 29 prior to an official opening May 11 at the West End's Duke of York's Theatre, for a run through Aug. 1. The production originated at the Theatre Royal Bath and is directed by Lindsay Posner.

Joining the previously announced Felicity Kendal as Judith Bliss are Simon Shepherd as her husband David, Michael Simkins as Richard Greatham and Sara Stewart as Myra Arundel.

The cast also includes Alice Orr-Ewing (Sorel Bliss), Edward Franklin (Simon Bliss), Celeste Dodwell (Jackie Coryton), Edward Killingback (Sandy Tyrrell), Mossie Smith (Clara).

Shepherd was last seen in the West End in The Duck House at the Vaudeville Theatre. He is probably best known as Dr. Will Preston from ITV's "Peak Practice."

Simkins' recent theatre credits include Oh What a Lovely War (Stratford East), Yes, Prime Minister (U.K. tour and Trafalgar Studios), Loyalty (Hampstead Theatre), Less Than Kind (Jermyn Street Theatre), Taking Steps (Orange Tree Theatre) and The King & I (Royal Albert Hall).
