Florian Zeller's The Truth, a Paris hit that received its English premiere in a production at the Menier Chocolate Factory that opened in March, is set to transfer to the West End's Wyndham's Theatre, beginning performances June 22 prior to an official opening June 27.

It will run for a limited 11-week season through September 3. It replaces the previously announced Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill that was postponed following the announcement of Audra McDonald's pregnancy.

The Menier cast that comprises Tanya Franks, Alexander Hanson (A Little Night Music on Broadway, which also originated at the Menier), Frances O'Connor and Robert Portal will all reprise their performances in the West End.

Zeller is currently represented on Broadway by the U.S. premiere of The Father starring Frank Langella at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

According to press materials, The Truth revolves around two couples and concerns friendship, suspicion, deceit and the truth. As with The Father, it is presented in a new version by Christopher Hampton. It is directed by Lindsay Posner, with set and costumes designed by Lizzie Clachan, lighting by Howard Harrison, sound by Gregory Clarke and original music by Matthew Scott. It is co-produced by Theatre Royal Bath Productions and Menier Chocolate Factory Productions.
