Two-time Tony nominee Andrew Rannells (Book of Mormon, Falsettos), will take the stage at the Appel Center in New York City 7:30 PM December 20 for a solo concert that will be taped by Live From Lincoln Center for broadcast at a date to be announced in spring 2018.

A recent Tony nominee for his performance as Whizzer in the revival of Falsettos, Rannells has a list of Broadway credits that also include Hamilton, Hairspray, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and The Book of Mormon, in which he created the role of Elder Price (Tony nomination). He played Bryan Collins in the TV series The New Normal.

Rannells’ show is part of a series of Live at Lincoln Center concerts by Broadway luminaries, December 19–22, in which the stars will be “illuminating their musical journeys to stardom, revisiting favorite songs, and offering glimpses of future projects.”

Rannells recently announced that he is working on a memoir in spring 2019 by Crown Archetype. He told Entertainment Weekly that the book, an account of growing up gay in the Midwest and his ambitious journey to Broadway, is “by far the most personal project I have ever worked on.”
