Arriving on the West End for one-night-only, Keith Harrison Dworkin and Laura Schein's Emojiland takes The Garrick Theatre stage October 31.
The West End alum-studded cast stars Blake Patrick Anderson (Be More Chill), Laura Baldwin (Cinderella), Louise Dearman (Wicked), Olly Dobson (Back to the Future), Hiba Elchikhe (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie), Renée Lamb (Six), Hannah Lowther (Heathers), Tim Mahendran (& Juliet), Natalie Paris (Six), Oliver Saville (Rocky Horror Show), Jonny Weldon (101 Dalmations), and Dean John Wilson (Aladdin).
The musical comedy follows a community of emoji archetypes—a smiling face dealing with depression, a princess who doesn’t want a prince, and a skull dying for deletion, just to name a few.
Emojiland was originally presented by the New York Musical Festival. It then premiered Off-Broadway in January, 2020, produced by Visceral Entertainment and directed by Thomas Caruso. An original cast recording has been released by Broadway Records.
