Everything changes: Jeremy Jordan and his wife Ashley Spencer have welcomed their first child.

Clara Eloise was born April 21, 2019, at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Jordan announced the birth on his Instagram (see below).

Jordan currently stars as Dr. Pomatter in the musical Waitress. He returned to Broadway earlier this season in American Son, alongside Kerry Washington, Steven Pasquale, and Eugene Lee.

Prior to that, Jordan had been away from the theatre—mainly filming Supergirl. He made his Broadway debut in West Side Story and also appeared in Rock of Ages before starring in Bonnie and Clyde and earning a Tony nomination for his starring role in Newsies.

Spencer is also a Broadway favorite. She made her debut as a replacement for Amber von Tussle in Hairspray. She also replaced as Sandy in the 2007 revival of Grease (having competed on the reality competition show You're the One That I Want) and joined the cast of Rock of Ages as Sherrie in 2012. She also appeared on Broadway in Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

The pair often share the cabaret stage.

Congratulations to the new parents!
