Before Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again heads to movie theatres July 20, get a first listen below to one of the ABBA tunes featured in the upcoming sequel: "When I Kissed the Teacher."
The song is performed by Lily James, stage favorite Jessica Keenan Wynn, and Alexa Davies—who play the earlier incarnations of Donna, Tanya, and Rosie (a.k.a. the Dynamos)—plus Olivier Award winner Celia Imrie.
The movie will feature songs heard in the original 2008 film as well as ABBA standards new to the Mamma Mia! catalog, including "When I Kissed the Teacher," "Fernando" (as sung by Cher) and "Angeleyes." The sequel tells two stories: the backstory of Donna and what happens when her daughter prepares to welcome a child of her own.
Several members from the first movie's cast, including Amanda Seyfried, Dominic Cooper, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgård, return for the sequel. Meryl Streep, who starred in the original, will make a return appearance as Donna, though her seemingly limited screen time has fans skeptical of Donna's fate in the sequel.
The soundtrack is expected to drop July 13 and is now available to pre-order.
