Yoga / Movement / Dance Instructor (Summer 2026)
Elmwood Day Camp | Westchester, NY (30 minutes from NYC & FREE transportation)
Are you a dancer, performer, or movement artist looking for a meaningful and energizing summer experience?
Elmwood Day Camp is seeking a dynamic Yoga / Movement / Dance Instructor to join our team for Summer 2026. This is a flexible, creative role ideal for someone who loves working with children and wants to bring movement to life in a fun, supportive camp environment.
About the Role:
This position is intentionally flexible—we’re looking for someone who can blend yoga, creative movement, and/or dance into engaging sessions for campers ages 3–11. Whether your background is in contemporary dance, musical theatre, yoga, or movement education, we’re excited to shape this role around your strengths.
You’ll lead small and large group activities that help campers:

Build confidence through movement

Express themselves creatively

Stay active in a joyful, non-competitive environment
Who You Are:

A dancer, performer, yoga instructor, or movement specialist

Experienced (or excited) to work with children

Energetic, warm, and creative

Able to adapt your teaching style to different age groups

A collaborative team player who brings positive energy each day
Camp Details:

Dates: June 29 – August 20, 2026 (closed July 3)

Salary: Competitive and based on experience

Schedule: Weekdays, with flexibility built into the role

Located in Westchester, NY (easy commute from NYC)
