A tribute to inspiration, inspiring hope! In memory of her late mother, Judy Ellis, Brooke Emmerich leads a dynamic and charming cast of musical theatre performers in a program of music that inspired their love of musical theatre. From the Golden Age hits that Judy Shared with a young Brooke to the Disney Renaissance musicals that fueled so many Millenials' dreams, this setlist will combine familiar hits with new favorites. Proceeds and a custom fundraising page will benefit Target ALS in memory of Judy.
Bit by the Bug will perform at the Green Room 42 in Midtown Manhattan on June 9th at 7 PM (Call time 4). The program will include Golden Age and contemporary musical theater and movie musical material.
We are seeking MDs/pianists and singer/actors.
We will conduct occasional check-ins to cover material, and then we will meet for two three-hour rehearsals and one coaching with cast (and MD). On the 9th, sound check at The Green Room 42 will be from 4-6PM (commitment is 4 to 8:30PM with a half hour break from 6 to 6:30). We will prepare 50-60 minutes of music.
