Prather Productions – Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre and Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre will be holding auditions for Female and Male-identifying singers, actors, and dancers by appointment only on April 20 and 21, 2026, with callbacks scheduled through Friday, April 24, 2026. All auditions and callbacks will be at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Ave. All ethnicities are encouraged to attend. Link for audition slots will go live on Monday, April 13, at 10 AM Eastern. Day of standby list will be available, in person, through the monitor on both audition days. No unofficial lists or unsolicited requests for appointments, please.

DUTCH APPLE DINNER THEATRE/LANCASTER, PA

Pretty Woman – Rehearsals begin July 23,2026 – Runs Through September 19, 2026

EDWARD LEWIS: Powerful pop/rock voice. Accomplished and highly educated business tycoon who specializes in taking over failing companies and liquidating their assets. Beneath his tough, work-focused exterior lies a sensitive and artistic side, with a deep appreciation for music and the arts. He hires Vivian seeking uncomplicated, temporary companionship, but she unexpectedly turns his world upside down, making him realize that he must change if he wants to keep what truly matters

HAPPY MAN/MR THOMPSON: Exceptional pop/rock singer, capable of switching effortlessly between styles. Must have strong comedic and acting chops, along with excellent dance ability. This character serves as Vivian’s magical "fairy godfather" on Hollywood Boulevard, starting out as a quick-witted seller of Maps to the Stars, who encourages her to cling to her dreams. He later transforms into Mr. Thompson, the polished and efficient manager of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, teaching Vivian how to ballroom dance and, most importantly, how to believe in herself.

ENSEMBLE: Highly skilled technical dancers and singers. Strong character acting ability is essential, as ensemble members may also be asked to cover lead roles.

Beautiful** – Rehearsals begin September 13, 2026 – Runs Through November 7, 2026 (Multiple Venue Contract – Show transfers to Hope Center For the Arts in Springfield, MA on Nov 8 with a brief re-tech and runs November 13 Through November 22, 2026. Then will perform at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Ft. Myers Florida January 5-10 with brush up rehearsals starting on December 30, 2026)

CAROLE KING: Aspiring singer/songwriter. A unique, appealing, funny, and vulnerable girl from a Jewish family in Brooklyn. Talented, good-natured, unassuming, and often the peacemaker in difficult situations. A reluctant star with no pretense and a passion for music.

GERRY GOFFIN: Carole’s boyfriend, songwriting partner, and eventual husband. Innately sympathetic, wounded, and tortured. An ambitious artist always striving for more

CYNTHIA WEILL: A songwriter who becomes romantically involved with Barry. Carole’s best friend. She is sophisticated, smart & chic with a quick wit. Although self-confident and sarcastic, she is also extremely likeable.

ENSEMBLE: Strong singers who move to play The Drifters, The Shirelles, The Righteous Brothers, and other various roles/covers.

BROADWAY PALM DINNER THEATRE/FORT MYERS, FL

9 to 5 – Rehearsals begin September 24, 2026 – Runs Through November 14, 2026

VIOLET: The company's Head Secretary and Mr. Hart's Administrative Assistant, she is a single mother and typically stands up for what she believes in.

DORALEE: A young, sexy spitfire who works at Mr. Hart's office. She is proof that there is more to a woman than just her looks.

JUDY: The "new" girl at the firm, she has been burned by her husband's affair and is searching for personal empowerment. Insecure, determined, and hopeful.

FRANKLIN HART, JR: One of the firm's executives and a notorious chauvinist. He is capable of faking charm but usually shows his true colors as an arrogant, self-absorbed boss.

ROZ KEITH: The attentive office gossip queen and snitch. She has an unrequited love for Mr. Hart and will do anything she can to win his approval.

JOE: A handsome, young office accountant. Genuine and nice, and smitten with Violet

DWAYNE: Doralee's attractive husband. He is very supportive of her professional pursuits.

JOSH: Violet’s awkward teenage son

DICK: Judy's soon-to-be ex-husband. An average guy, he is sporting a little less hair and a little more paunch than he did ten years ago.

TINSWORTHY: Franklin Hart's boss and Chairman of the Board. A good man, who may be wiser to Hart's ways than he lets on.

ENSEMBLE: Singers and dancers with high energy to play various roles and be office workers/understudies.

Contracts include housing, meals on performance days, round trip transportation, gym membership in FL, direct deposit, comp tickets and a weekly professional salary. All contracts are NON- AEA.

Bring 2 headshots and resumes stapled together. Be prepared to slate your name and what you are singing (16 bars). You may be asked to return for callbacks later that week.

Please do not arrive more than 30 mins prior to your appointment time so as to reduce overcrowding of the holding room.
