TT Partners (TTP), a Broadway/touring general management and producing office is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team.

TTP, under the leadership of partners David Turner, Rebecca Habel, Adam Miller, and Joseph Baker, currently manages the Broadway and worldwide productions of The Book of Mormon, The Hills Of California, and the upcoming Operation Mincemeat, as well as recent productions of Illinoise, Merrily We Roll Along, Patriots, The Shark Is Broken, Company, Death of a Salesman and Leopoldstadt, and a slate of new Broadway and Off-Broadway projects in development.

About the Position
The Executive Assistant is the senior member of a 3-person Administrative team who splits their time roughly 50/50 between supporting General Manager/Principal Partner David Turner, and overseeing the Business Associate and Administrative Assistant who run the TT Partners office on a day-to-day basis. At least 2-4 years experience in the professional theatre is expected, although not required, for candidates for this position.
In supporting the GM, this is an opportunity to take part in all stages of General Management on Broadway, starting with early developmental stages of a new show all the way through production and post-production.The Executive Assistant will also be involved in TTP’s work across the theatrical industry through its involvement in The Broadway League, of which David serves on the Board of Governors’ Executive Committee.
TTP’s Administrative team runs the day-to-day of this business which has 15-20 employees at any given time. Candidates for this position should have experience in administration and management of a small team, with excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to problem solve and help create and maintain systems. Knowledge of office software suites, including QuickBooks is important, and an above-average level of IT skills would be beneficial. Candidates should have a high level of multi-tasking skills and be able to handle the unexpected daily tasks and issues which arise in a fast-paced entertainment business environment.
This position requires strong self awareness and self motivation, as the Executive Assistant will shift between working independently and playing a leadership/mentorship role in a team oriented environment. The Executive Assistant must maintain professional maturity and possess the ability to respond effectively and problem solve in alignment with company values.
Areas of initial responsibility include:
o Providing administrative support to General Manager/Principal David Turner
o Managing Calendar
o Screening phone calls
o Maintaining contacts
o Drafting contracts and correspondence
o Paying Bills and managing finance for shows David is working on while they are in pre-production.
o Organizing and preparing for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings
o Tracking priorities and ensuring tasks are completed
o Actively learning more about commercial general management in order to anticipate needs and take on additional responsibilities
o Be the lead administrator of the office, co-supervising the Business Associate and supervising the Administrative Asst.
o Oversee the Administrative team, running and developing systems for Office Management
o Draft GM Contracts, track their completion, and track GM Payments
o Draft other contracts, mainly for shows in pre-production, for all three GMs as needed.
o Along with the other two members of the Administrative team, be the conduit with IT consultant and help solve IT issues.
o Be the point person for communication with Production Accountants (Withum)
o Work with Business Associate on setup of new shows including entity formation, banking, EIN#, etc.
o Oversee onboarding for new staff, collaborating with Business Associate and third party HR company
The details
This position will begin immediately and will work from TTP’s offices in Midtown Manhattan. The salary is $75,000 a year plus a benefits package including group health insurance and HRA, 401K after a waiting period, paid time off, and pre-tax health and commuter benefits.
