COSTUME STITCHER

Dates: July 1, 2024 – August 19, 2024; Travel Dates: ASAP & August 20th

Stipend: $1500-1800 for 6 weeks + travel, room, and all meals

Reports to: Costume Shop Manager, Wardrobe Supervisor, and Hair/Wig Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Assist in the construction and maintenance of all costume elements (including wigs) for the summer season.
• Assist with show laundry during shop hours.
• Assist with restocking costumes into our newly organized stock
• Being a substitute for wardrobe run crew in case of illness.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requirements are 1-2 years costume experience with excellent sewing skills.
• Must be able to climb stairs, stand and kneel for extended periods of time, lift twenty pounds, and work effectively in a low-light environment.
