Playbill Pride

Playbill is thrilled and honored to be producing PLAYBILL PRIDE 2021—a series of events dedicated to celebrating the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies.

In 2015, Playbill established Playbill.com/Pride, dedicated to Pride coverage and events. Each June, our iconic yellow masthead is replaced with a rainbow design in recognition of, and honoring, Pride month. With diversity, equality, equity, visibility, and inclusion as the principals guiding our programming, this year Playbill Pride will include multiple virtual events and a one-of-a-kind, socially distanced/live concert; all benefiting nonprofits that work for and with the LGBTQIA+ community.

See below for our exciting Pride event line up.

OUTtakes

What is Pride? Introducing OUTtakes, a four-part series featuring interviews and performances by LGBTQIA+ Broadway performers who share what Pride looks like through their eyes. With stories and music, get a behind-the-scenes look at Pride 2021, culminating with The Progress of Pride Spectacular on Saturday June 26.

Dates: June 1, June 8, June 15, and June 22

Glimmer of Light

This June, celebrate Pride 2021 with Glimmer of Light, an epic concert produced by Playbill, created by The Neon Coven, and sponsored by Cadillac. Join in the celebration of queer individuals and allies, while supporting Born This Way Foundation's mission of working with young people to build a kinder and braver world.

Surprise performances and guest speakers from Broadway, TV, and Social Media will fill the evening with PRIDE and 100% of Glimmer of Light in-person ticket proceeds go directly to support Born This Way Foundation.

In-Person Event Date: June 17 at 8:30 PM at Radial Park at Halletts Point
