DESCRIPTION

The Audience Services & Box Office Supervisor will execute all areas pertaining to the box office and ticket sales, including patron services and management during performances, ticket income tracking and reporting, and group sales. The position may also oversee part-time Box Office Associates. Reports to Senior Management.

Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the box office and manage sales for an Off-Broadway production at the Duke Theatre using ticketing software for all performances.
- Maintain all events and reports, including financial reporting.
- Provide sales reporting and analysis to key internal stakeholders to inform marketing and pricing strategy.
- Collaborate on the creation of group sales campaigns and manage communications/sales with group leaders, facilitate and process group sales.
- Work with third-party ticketing vendors on outside sales production.
- Provide excellent and timely customer service to customers.
· Manage and train part-time Box Office Associates.
- Must be available two hours before, and up to one hour after the start of each performance of production for up to 8 shows per week.
- Nights and weekends required.
- Some office hours required.

Qualifications
-1-2+ years’ experience working in a Box Office and/or Ticketing role within an arts organization, agency or similar.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience working with any ticketing platform (Tessitura, Spectrix.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with AudienceView
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
- A self-starter that takes initiative in completing day-to-day and one-off requests.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a temporary, full-time position which begins on or around January 8th and runs through February 22, 2025.
Salary is between $700-$800/ week, commensurate with experience.
