Michael Arden may have spent the last several years working as a director (including the Tony-winning Best Revival Once On This Island), but the artist previously originated the role of Quasimodo in the world premiere production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame back in 2014.
On May 10, Arden performed Quasimodo’s big solo “Out There” for Good Morning America digital. The show featured music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, with a book by Peter Parnell.
