Comedian Vir Das will bring his solo show Hey Stranger to LCT3's Claire Tow Theater, as part of Lincoln Center Theater and Seaview's The Comedy Series. The show will run October 29-November 9 at the Off-Broadway theatre.
As for the rest of the series, Jenny Slate has had to cancel her previously announced appearance due to scheduling conflicts. Slate had been announced as one of three comedians who would bring work to LCT3 via the series, so two more will be announced in the coming weeks.
Das is part of the stand-up scene in India and a Bollywood star. Along with lauded performances at Edinburgh Fringe, Carnegie Hall, and London's Eventim Apollo, he's starred in on screen in Whiskey Cavalier, Hasmukh, Jestination Unknown, and The Bubble.
Moritz von Stuelpnagel (I Need That) is directing Hey Stranger.
