Off-Broadway News The Winter’s Tale and Hedda Gabler Begin Off-Broadway Performances October 6

The two works are presented in repertory by Bedlam at New York City’s Irondale Center.

Hedda Gabler and The Winter's Tale

Performances begin October 5 for Bedlam’s repertory productions of The Winter's Tale by Shakespeare and Hedda Gabler by Ibsen. Directed by Eric Tucker, the works play at the Brooklyn's Irondale Center through November 20. Hedda Gabler opens October 6, with The Winter's Tale following October 8.

Starring in the cast for the two works are Karen Alvarado, Lisa Birnbaum, Katie Hartke, Mike Labbadia, Susannah Millonzi, Ryan Quinn, Shaun Taylor-Corbett, Eric Tucker, and Elan Zafir. The Winter’s Tale is assistant directed by Talia Feldberg, while Aïssa Guindo assistant directs Jon Robin Baitz’s adaptation of Hedda Gabler by Aïssa Guindo. 

Also serving on the creative team are lighting designer Carolina Ortiz, set designer John McDermott, sound designer Jane Shaw, costume designer Daniele Tyler Mathews, props designer Clifton Chadick, and intimacy director Joy DeMichelle.

Rebecca Schafer serves as production manager with Diane Healy as stage manager. They are joined by assistant stage manager Deanna Kahn.
