Even ghosts return to the grave, eventually. The McKittrick Hotel will close its doors forever in the new year, and three farewell parties will cap off the venue's history of programming.
Titled Apparitions, the parties will be held January 9, 10, and 11. Guests are encouraged to dress according to the theme of each party.
January 9, subtitled The Love Letter, invites guests to celebrate the past and present of the venue as "apparitions of beauty and joy." January 10's event, subtitled The Fever Dream, asks for celestial theming "as the night unfurls and dreams take flight." The January 11 party, subtitled The Final Masque, will be a masquerade sendoff to close the coffin lid once and for all.
"Apparitions is more than a party; it’s a love letter to everyone who has ever danced, drifted, or dared to lose themselves within these walls,” said McKittrick creators, Conor Doyle and Oliver Sayer, in a statement. “Inspired by the hotel’s very first revel over 13 years ago, we come full circle—our beginning becomes our end. We summon some of our most iconic performances from then to now, weaving nostalgia, enchantment, and the indelible spirit of The McKittrick."
Tickets to Apparitions start from $100 per person. Libations are not included, but will be available for purchase. For more information, visit McKittrickHotel.com.
