A concert version of Charlotte Lucas is 27 and Not Dead, a new musical by Jessie Field and James Martinez Salem, will be presented October 25 at 7 PM and October 26 at 3 PM at the Baruch Performing Arts Center in Manhattan.
The cast will be led by Taylor Iman Jones (Six, Head Over Heels) as Charlotte Lucas, joined by Genesis Adelia Collado (In the Heights), Alia Cuadros-Contreras (SCOUTS), Andrew Cristi (Miss You Like Hell), Ellis Gage (Next to Normal), Kalonjee Gallimore (A Beautiful Noise), TikTok content creator Sara James, Danielle Koenig (Good Girls Go to Hell), Wren Rivera (Jagged Little Pill), Darius Rose aka “Jackie Cox” (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Heather Sawyer (James and the Giant Peach), AnnEliza Canning-Skinner, and Max Raymond.
Charlotte Lucas is 27 and Not Dead is described as an irreverent new queer love story that takes place against the backdrop of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice.
Michele O’Brien will direct the evening with music direction by Anessa Marie Scolpini. Kat Cartusciello will be the assistant music director with stage management by Chris M. Russo and Vicki Whooper.
