The new musical The Death of Desert Rose will hold industry presentations November 2 and 3. The work features music and lyrics by Elliah Heifetz and a book by Jessica Kahkoska.

Telling an original story, the musical follows a queer vigilante named "Desert Rose" Ramsey on her quest to save her former flame, Betty Britches.

Taylor Iman Jones (SIX) is leading the cast, alongside Gracie McGraw (If Loving You is Wrong), Damon Daunno (Oklahoma!), Julius Thomas III (Hamilton), Eric William Morris (White Girl in Danger), Jordan Barbour (The Inheritance), Kelly Berman (Gypsy), Sam Bolen (Assassins), Amanda Clement (Hamilton), Bernard Dotson (Paradise Square), Chloé Nadon Enriquez (Bad Cinderella), Max Antonio Gonzalez (Cabaret), Rohit Gopal (Broadway Vacation), Julia Harnett (In the Heights), Kayla Jenerson (A Bronx Tale), Evan Kinnane (Moulin Rouge!), Caleb Marshall (Evita), Paige McNamara (A Night With Janis Joplin), Jenny Mollet (The Color Purple), Jimin Moon (Aladdin), Brandon Springman (Come From Away), Andrew Wojtal (Hamilton), and Morgan Wood (Hamilton). Casting is by The Telsey Office's Lindsay Levine.

Ashley Rodbro is directing, with choreography by Katie Spelman, and music supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Cian McCarthy. Stephanie Cowan is producing, with RCI Theatricals serving as general manager.
