Tony Award winner Gavin Creel, Celia Keenan-Bolger, and more joined The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York state affiliate of the ACLU, for the 15th annual Broadway Stands Up for Freedom on July 17 at NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts. The event highlighted “social injustices and civil rights issues through song and spoken word.”
Susan Blackwell returned as host with co-directors Peter Flynn and Daniel Goldstein, featuring music direction from Hamilton’s Kurt Crowley.
