The Broadway revival of David Mamet's American Buffalo began previews at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre March 22. Directed by Neil Pepe, the limited 16-week engagement has set opening night for April 14 and will run through July 10.
The show stars Tony winner Laurence Fishburne as Donny, Golden Globe winner Sam Rockwell as Teach, and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Darren Criss as Bobby.
Originally, the show was slated to begin previews March 2020 but found itself delayed due to the COVID-19 Broadway shutdown. They recently announced their digital lottery and rush policies, offering $35 tickets to theatergoers.

American Buffalo follows three small-time hustlers in search of the American Dream. The production premiered on Broadway in 1977, receiving two Tony Award nominations and a Drama Desk award for Outstanding Set Design. It has gone on to be revived Off-Broadway in 1981 and 2000, and on Broadway in 1983
The production features set design by Scott Pask, costume design by Dede Ayite, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, and casting by Telsey + Co and William Cantler.
