Film & TV News See Daniel Craig, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, More in New Trailer, Images for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery

The upcoming film is the third in a series where Craig stars as Southern gay detective Benoit Blanc.

The Blanc is back! Netflix has released a teaser trailer and images for the latest installment in its Knives Out film series: Wake Up Dead Man. The film will see detective Benoit Blanc (played by Daniel Craig), solving another murder mystery—this time at a small church in upstate New York where a pastor (played by Josh Brolin) has been found dead

Similar to the other film in the series, Wake Up Dead Man contains a starry cast, including number of theatre favorites: three-time Tony winner Glenn Close (Sunset Boulevard) as mysterious church lady Martha Delacroix, Josh O’Connor (Netflix's The Crown) as goodhearted young priest Jud Duplenticy, Thomas Haden Church (Spider-Man: No Way Home) as circumspect groundskeeper Samson Holt, Kerry Washington (American Son) as tightly-wound lawyer Vera Draven, Daryl McCormack (Peaky Blinders) as aspiring politician Cy Draven, Jeremy Renner (Marvel's Avengers) as town doctor Nat Sharp, Andrew Scott (Vanya) as bestselling author Lee Ross, Mila Kunis (Black Swan) as local police chief Geraldine Scott, and Cailee Spaeny as concert cellist Simone Vivane.

Wake Up Dead Man is written and directed by Rian Johnson, who also directed the other Knives Out films. Notably, the second Knives Out film, Glass Onion, featured cameos from Stephen Sondheim and Angela Lansbury, in their final screen performances.

Wake Up Dead Man heads to select movie theatres starting November 26, before becoming streamable on Netflix beginning December 12.
