It's Autumn in New York! As the leaves fall, ghosts, goblins, and black cats roam, and pumpkin spice lattes warm every tongue, we are (trick or) treating the Broadway babies who are celebrating their birthdays in October. See what they're currently working on, and check out the Playbill Vault for other theatre notables with October birthdays.
We're going to dance all night in celebration of legendary Dame Julie Andrews' (My Fair Lady, Camelot) 90th birthday on October 1. Also celebrating are song-and-dance man Christian Borle (Tammy Faye, Some Like It Hot, Something Rotten!) and lyricist Lynn Ahrens (the upcoming revival of Ragtime).
On October 4, we'll bet Liev Schreiber (Doubt, Les Liaisons Dangereuses) is feeling like a million dollars.
We'll have a birthday parade on October 6 for Tony winner Michael Arden (this season's The Queen of Versailles, Maybe Happy Ending), Casey Nicholaw (West End's Hercules, Some Like It Hot), and Will Butler (Stereophonic).

We love her! Tony winner Jane Krakowski celebrates her birthday on October 11 and her term as Mary Todd Lincoln in Broadway's Oh, Mary! on October 14. Two-time Tony winner Judy Kaye (Diana, The Musical, Anastasia) also holds the key to our heart on this day.
We'll have trouble on October 12 if we do not give a shout out to Hugh Jackman (The Music Man, The Boy From Oz), Lorna Courtney (Off-Broadway's Heathers, & Juliet) and Tony winner Toby Marlow (SIX: The Musical).
We have no Doubt that John Patrick Shanley (Outside Mullingar) is in for a fantastic October 13.
We're prepared to celebrate Gavin Lee (currently in Broadway's The Lion King) on October 15.
On October 17, we're letting directors Susan Stroman (The Producers, SMASH) and David Cromer (this season's Carrie Coon-led Bug), and playwright Tarell Alvin McCraney (Choir Boy) be our stars.
For one night only, on October 19, Tony winner Jennifer Holliday (The Color Purple, Dreamgirls) is our ultimate dreamgirl. Also celebrating is a Broadway Giant, two-time Tony winner John Lithgow (Hillary and Clinton) and four-time Tony winner Trey Parker (The Book of Mormon).
On October 21, Tony winner Aaron Tveit (this season's revival of Chess, Moulin Rouge! The Musical) can tell everyone this is his birthday. Also celebrating are three-time Tony nominee LaTanya Richardson Jackson (Purpose, A Raisin in the Sun) and Drama Desk Award winner Andrew Scott (Vanya).
On October 22, we'll be feeling changed for good. Tony winner Marc Shaiman (SMASH, Some Like It Hot), Tony winner Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Take Me Out), Jeff Goldblum (the upcoming second part of the Wicked film) and Bill Condon (the upcoming Kiss of the Spider Woman film) are celebrating their birthdays.

October 25 marks the beginning of Adam Pascal's (Rent) season of love.
We'll be singing "Into the Bitter End" for Tony nominee Will Swenson (A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical) and Anthony Rapp (Rent) on October 26.
October 28, we'll say a prayer for Betsy Aidem (Leopoldstadt), who is celebrating her birthday the same night as her next show, Liberation's, Broadway opening.
"We're Simply Full of Jazz" for two-time Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell (Ragtime) and Maryann Plunkett (The Notebook) on October 31. Happy Halloween!
