Billy Crystal will return to Broadway this fall with another autobiographical solo show, 860. It will begin in October at a Shubert Theatre to be announced. The work, being directed by Scott Ellis, will play a strictly limited 12-week run.

The comedian first brought an autobiographical solo show to Broadway with 2004's 700 Sundays, which served as the six-time Emmy winer's Broadway debut. Adapted from a memoir, the work centers on his relationship with his father, who died when Crystal was 15; the two shared 700 Sundays together. The play won Crystal a Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event, and returned to Broadway for an encore in 2013.

860 draws its title from the address of his longtime California home, which was lost to the 2025 Palisades Fire. "I am thrilled to return to Broadway this fall with this challenging new show," says Crystal in a statement. "860 was the address of the home we lost in the Palisades fires. We lived there for 46 years. I invite you to come inside 860 and I’ll tell you all the funny and touching things that happened there, not only in my career but to our family. It’s a joyous and heartfelt visit, about how with the love of family and friends and your inner strength, you can get through tough times. I look forward to returning to Broadway and welcoming audiences to 860."

Since the wild success of 700 Sundays, Crystal also came to Broadway with 2022's Mr. Saturday Night, a stage musical version of his 1992 film. Crystal penned the musical's book and reprised his screen performance as comedian Buddy Young, Jr., with Jason Robert Brown providing songs. The show earned Crystal his second and third career Tony Award nominations, for both his Book and Leading Performance.

But it is the screen where Crystal has found his most enduring fame, starring in the 1977 series Soap and later Saturday Night Live before a string of beloved movie appearances in such titles as When Harry Met Sally...City Slickers, and Analyze This. Crystal is also a nine-time host of the Academy Awards. Along with his Tony Award, his accolades include six Emmy Awards and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, along with being named a Kennedy Center honoree in 2023.

The producing team is being led by Janice Crystal, James L. Nederlander, Larry Magid, and Face Productions. Further creative team members are to be announced.
