The Verdict Reviews: What Are Critics Saying About Primary Trust Off-Broadway?

The reviews are in for the world premiere of Primary Trust by Eboni Booth which officially opened Off-Broadway May 25 after beginning previews May 4. The Roundabout Theatre Company production runs at the Laura Pels Theater in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theater through July 10.

The new comedy centers on a recently laid-off bookstore employee (played by William Jackson Harper) who is encouraged by a tiki bar waiter (April Matthis) to try something new. Knud Adams directs the production, which also features Eric Berryman (Toni Stone), Jay O. Sanders (Girl From the North Country), and Luke Wygodny.
