Reviews are out for the limited holiday engagement of Rob Lake Magic With Special Guests The Muppets, which began performances October 28 at the Broadhurst Theatre. The production was originally set to open November 6, and subsequently postponed that date multiple times—most recently to November 14—before announcing an abrupt closing notice for November 16. In light of that early departure, the show declared themselves open as of November 12, clearing critics to release their reviews—which can be read below.

The show features the Broadway debuts of both magician Rob Lake and a number of Jim Henson's Muppets, including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, the Great Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, and Animal. The cast also includes illusion assistants Jesse Forcha, Noah Mason, Jennifer Orf, Natalie Vatalaro, and Alli Zajac; and swing illusion assistants Diana Lizette Garcia and Elijah Gragg.
