Emmy nominee John Krasinski (The Office, A Quiet Place) is back on the New York stage in Penelope Skinner's dark comedy Angry Alan, which opened as the inaugural production of Off-Broadway's Studio Seaview June 11. The solo play, written by Skinner and co-created by Don Mackay, premiered at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The story follows Roger, who is divorced, demoted, and drifting. When an online personality promises clarity, Roger dives in without looking back.

The production is the first in the venue, formerly Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theater. Production company Seaview announced its takeover of the space earlier this year.
