Playwrights Horizons celebrated the official opening of Lindsey Ferrentino's new play This Flat Earth, directed by Rebecca Taichman, April 9. The drama shines a light on a seaside town community struggling to make sense of a middle school shooting.

Leading the cast of the world premiere as 13-year-old Bella is Ella Kennedy Davis (Matilda, Mary Poppins). She is joined by Ian Saint-Germain (Tamburlaine), Cassie Beck (The Whale, The Humans), Theatre World Award winner Lynda Gravatt (Miss Witherspoon, Skeleton Crew), and Lucas Papaelias (Essential Self-Defense, Once).
Performances began March 16 and are scheduled through April 29.
