James Monroe Iglehart, on Broadway this past season in a Tony-nominated turn in A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical, joined the company of the hit jukebox musical & Juliet August 5. Tony winner Iglehart is playing a limited engagement as Lance through November 2. The Broadway favorite succeeded *NSYNC pop icon Joey Fatone, who played his final performance at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre July 31.
Iglehart has also been seen on Broadway in Hamilton, Memphis, Chicago, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Freestyle Love Supreme, and Spamalot.
Porter, a vocal coach, is a popular purveyor of singing advice on social media, with 22 million followers on TikTok. She succeeds Jeannette Bayardelle in the role of Angélique August 5.

Nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, & Juliet flips the script on the William Shakespeare classic, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo. Featuring a book by David West Read, the score includes a mix of tunes by Max Martin and more, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “I Want It That Way,” and “Confident.”
The production also has direction by Luke Sheppard, choreography by Jennifer Weber, musical supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Bill Sherman, scenic design by Soutra Gilmour, costume design by Paloma Young, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Gareth Owen, video projection design by Andrzej Goulding, hair, wig, and makeup design by J.
