Joining Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons are Tony Award nominee Patrick Wilson (The Full Monty, Oklahoma!), Ted Danson ("Cheers," "CSI") and Jean Smart ("Designing Women," "Getting On").
The recurring cast also includes Nick Offerman (Annapurna, "Parks and Recreation"), Brad Garrett ("Everybody Loves Raymond," "Finding Nemo"), Kieran Culkin (This Is Our Youth, "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World"), Bokeem Woodbine ("Ray," "Devil"), Jeffrey Donovan (A View From the Bridge, Magic/Bird) and Angus Sampson ("Insidious," "Where The Wild Things Are").
Set in Sioux Falls, SD, and Luverne, MN, the 10 episodes of "Fargo" will follow State Police Officer Lou Solverson (Wilson), recently back from Vietnam, as he works on a new case.
Danson will play Hank Larsson, the Sheriff of Rock County, who is Lou’s father-in-law. Smart will play Floyd Gerhardt.
The series will be penned by Noah Hawley, who wrote the the Emmy-winning first installment. Hawley will executive produce with Joel and Ethan Coen, Warren Littlefield and John Cameron for MGM Television and FX Productions.
