Broadway News Original SIX Queens Hand Over Crowns; Bre Jackson, Brennyn Lark, and Keri René Fuller to Join Cast

The Tudor pop musical's Adrianna Hicks, Abby Mueller, and Joy Woods have set dates to depart the show.

Broadway's SIX will welcome three new queens to the cast, along with two new alternates, August 9 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Joining the cast are Bre Jackson (The Color PurpleThe Book of Mormon) as Catherine of Aragon, Brennyn Lark (Les MiserablesDreamgirls) as Catherine Parr, and Keri René Fuller (Jagged Little PillWaitress) as Jane Seymour. Fuller joins the company full time after filling in for Abby Mueller in the role during a bout of COVID earlier this year.

Original Broadway cast members Adrianna Hicks and Mueller will play their final performance August 7. Lark will become the one who survived as Joy Woods sets her final performance as Catherine Parr for July 31.

The new cast will join continuing company members Andrea Macasaet as Anne Boleyn, Brittney Mack as Anna of Cleves, and Samantha Pauly as Katherine Howard.

Holli' Conway and Ayla Ciccone Burton

Also joining are new alternates Holli’ Conway and Ayla Ciccone-Burton and, both alum of Broadway's Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.

Six, created by Tony winners Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, follows the six wives of King Henry VIII of England in a historical remix that turns the Tudor royals into pop queens. Marlow and Moss won the 2022 Tony Award for Best Original Score, and the show's costume designer Gabriella Slade took home the award for Best Costume Design.

Six is co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage. The production features set design by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabrielle Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling, and sound design by Paul Gatehouse. Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, George Stiles, and Kevin McCollum serve as its producers on Broadway.
